Havesting Lavender at Purple Ranch Lavender Farm

It’s harvest time at Purple Ranch Lavender Farm. The field was humming with the sounds of nature. Thousands of bees forged for pollen from the lavender blooms. Butterflies fluttered from plant to plant. It was hot but also very relaxing. Our Purple Ranch Body Mister came in handy. Wand weaving was the general past time. It was truly enjoyable under the pergola. I can’t wait until we get the misters installed. We are getting ready for the Rowlett Freedom Festival. Should be a good event for us. I hope to see you out at the farm. Until next time. Lavender Up!

Linda,
It was so good to hear from you and hope that you will get a chance to visit the farm. This is our first year to be open and we haven’t allowed people to pick yet. Maybe next year. The lavender blooms from May to September. It is in it’s second bloom right now. The first bloom is always the best since the stems are longer and there are more flowers. We also sell oils, ,lotions and candles, and gift items that are all made at the farm. We still have blooms and our shop is open by appointment. You can give us a call and we will be there for you, 972-636-2144. We will also be at the Aspasians Festival in Rockwall on September 13th.
Thanks so much for your e-mail.
