Purple Ranch Lavender Farm at the Royce City Business Expo
ROYCE CITY, TX – The Purple Ranch Lavender Farm is coming to the Business Expo of Royce City on Friday, February 22, 2008. This annual event is taking place this year at Southern Junction, 5574 Hwy 276 in Rockwall from 5pm until 11pm. There will be plenty of food, fun, and live music.
At the age of 70 Hand is making her mark on the Texas landscape. After losing 75% of her crop the first year due to torrential rains causing a wide spread fungus she continued to chase the dream. Hand said, "I have always dreamed of owning and running my own business and with a life-long interest in plants and flowers, this is definitely a dream come true."
Today with over 600 plants in the ground and 500 more ready for planting, the farm is thriving. Specializing in high-quality lavender products such as soaps, bath salts, candles, linen spray, oil, tea bags, wands, and more.
