Back from Canton
Purple Ranch is back from Canton. We had a great time and met some really great folks. We are really starting to get some traction there while making some great contacts. The traffic was low on Sunday probably due to the Super Bowl. We had a great time packed in like sardines in our tent. My sons Jake and Jon thought they were in heaven. As usual it is great to see Mom doing what she loves. This time we introduced a video telling facts about lavender and showing off our products. It went over really well. A lot of people came by and just watched the video. I learned a lot while making the video. Some of the contacts that we made would be a good fit for our distributor program. I can’t wait to get that off the ground. Some of the vendors we met were Tim and Penny from Empty Tomb Gear. What a great ministry they have. They are definitely using their gifts to further the kingdom of Christ. They have a line of clothing with a logo that represents the resurrection. Great idea guys, keep up the great work. Check out their stuff at www.emptytombgear.com. I met Patricia West who owns Phoenix Glass Arts. She uses molten bottles for her media to do her art. If you want to see her stuff email her at pat@phoenixglassarts.com. You won’t be disappointed. This week my goal is to work off the two Pork-a-bobs that I had. Um they were tasty. Until next time. Lavender Up.

I have to agree with my brother Cliff, after several trips to the Dairy Palace, a few funnel cakes and ice cream on top of all that, I need to be out at Purple Ranch Farm doing some shoveling and planting. That would work off all the food I consumed this weekend at Canton Trade Days.
Some of you heard about my husband the VP Pet Handler. He takes care of everyone’s pets while we are traveling around the country selling Purple Ranch product. He had an extremely exiting weekend with 2 Shiba Inu’s and 2 Blue Healer/Lab (possibly) Rottweiller mix puppies. They kept him thoroughly entertained. He fired himself from that job but we won’t let him quit because it takes a majority vote for that to happen the family has him outnumbered.
Sorry Jer. You are still on dog duty.

Well I must say I missed a great time in Canton this past weekend! Oh the stories to be told of tent sleeping and alike. From the photo above it looks like there are lots of great Valentine gifts to be had. If you missed Canton, please come by and see Purple Ranch at the Royce City Business Expo in Rockwall, TX on Friday night, February 22nd. See the calendar posted on the Purple Ranch webpage for more details or call the farm at 972-636-2144.
