Purpleranch at the Royse City Chili Cook Off
Purpleranch is back from the cook off. Above you see Bren and Mom working the booth. What a great time we had meeting new friends right here in our own backyard. It is always great to see Mom talking to people about the ranch and what is going on. It would not be complete without her naming off all of the kids and what each of us do at Purple Ranch. We joke about wearing a lot of hats but we love the variety. One of my more recent jobs is to find the missing banner. When we were growing up Mom had a wooden pig cutting board that we would blame for anything that happened that no one would take credit for. The wooden pig is long gone, or maybe he isn’t. Well, if you see a wooden pig carrying a Purpleranch banner give us a call. If he is carrying bath salts you may be eligible for a reward. For now the search will go on.

The pig was seen leaving Purpleranch and a haphazard inspection was made to see what else was missing. Nothing new was gone but the missing banner was found in the corner of the living room. Maybe he has reformed or maybe he does not like our banner. The bath salts are still missing. If you find a pig wallowing in the mud and he smells like lavender you can apply for the reward.
